
Celebration of life held for North Dakota lawmaker killed in Brooklyn Park plane crash

Willmar Police is investigating a Thursday shooting that injured one person on 1st Street South. According to its press release, the department is currently considering the incident a reckless discharge of a firearm, believing the incident was not a targeted attack. The incident occurred at 12:40 p.m. Thursday at a business in the 700 block of 1st Street South, where police said a man walking into the building was stuck by a small-caliber bullet. The man s injuries were not life-threatening and he was taken to the hospital for treatment. Anyone who may have information about this incident, including surveillance footage or might ve noticed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident, is encouraged to contact the Willmar Police Department.
